Data protection & Privacy policy
Here's my straightforward approach to handling your data.
What information I collect:
When we work together, I'll need some basic information from you. This typically includes your business name, contact details like your name, email, and phone number, and your business address for invoicing purposes. I'll also need project information and requirements so I can deliver the best possible work for you. Any brand materials you share with me are kept confidential.
How I keep your information safe:
Your information's security is important to me. I store all files in password-protected cloud storage and use two-factor authentication on all my accounts for an extra layer of protection. For organisation and security, I maintain separate folders for each client, and when sharing documents, I only do so with specific permissions to control access. I also use a password manager to ensure all my account access remains secure.
How I use your information:
I only use your information for legitimate purposes related to our work together. This includes completing your copywriting and brand strategy projects, communicating with you about your work, and sending invoices. I may keep samples of our work for my portfolio, but I'll always respect any confidentiality agreements we have in place. I want to be clear that I never sell or share your information with third parties, your data stays between us.
Your rights:
You're always in control of your information. You can contact me anytime if you'd like to access the information I have about you, request changes or updates to your information, or ask me to delete your information (unless I need to keep something for legal purposes, like tax records).
If you have any questions about how I handle your data or if you'd like to exercise any of your rights regarding your information, please don't hesitate to reach out.
